Impact
We are a proud
Certified B Corporation
and 1% for the Planet
business member.
At Enharmonic Encounters, we have type B blood. From the very beginning we understood that our planet could no longer afford business as usual. We feel led to do business a different way, putting people and planet on an equal playing field with profit. That’s what it means to be a Certified B Corporation.
We are immensely proud to be at the helm of B Lab’s new standards for B Certification (V2), leading the charge as one of the first companies in our global ecosystem, and the first Black- and minority-owned company in the United States and Canada, to submit and embark on the journey to certify under V2. We encourage you to explore below the newly required elements (Impact Topics) that make us unique as a Certified B Corporation.
Using business as a force for good can take a myriad of forms. No matter how it looks, we are committed to a journey of continuous improvement of our positive social and environmental impact.

Our commitment to giving
We take giving very seriously, and have made it the beating heart of our identity. We direct 5% of our annual revenue to organizations dedicated to advancing equity.
We honor our commitment through our partnership with 1% for the Planet, a global organization that exists to ensure our planet and future generations thrive. By connecting businesses and environmental partners around the globe, the 1% for the Planet community harnesses the power of collective action by using partnerships and strategic giving to address today’s most pressing environmental challenges.
We give unapologetically to Black-owned environmental partners working to enhance Black lives, all of whom are vetted by 1% for the Planet. We also give to other Black-owned organizations that meet the following criteria:
- 501(c)(3) status or equivalent.
- A focus on enhancing the quality of life for Black communities (e.g., affordable housing, voter enfranchisement, mental health).
- Transparency through accessible impact reports.
By putting people and planet above profit through intentional giving, we are building a more equitable and sustainable future.
