As the year progresses, so do our efforts to build bridges to purposeful impact. I’m proud to share that we’ve made encouraging developments in the last month, particularly related to boosting our language services. Don’t forget that in addition to helping companies measure their social and environmental impact, we also unite stakeholders through our translation and interpreting services. You’ll begin to hear more and more about these language services.
Regards,

SATURDAY, MAY 24 | ONLINE
To mark the end of a year-long course in conference interpreter training, Interpret2b’s (i2B) 2024 Interpreting Program is proud to announce its annual capstone conference! We’ve been privileged to participate in this program and can’t wait to demonstrate our skills development.
The event will take place online via Zoom.

JUNE – AUGUST | AUSTIN, TX
We take continued language development very seriously, as it’s key to building bridges to a more unified world. That’s why we’re proud to announce that we’ve been accepted to the University of Texas at Austin’s Arabic Summer Institute, where we’ll spend eight weeks immersed in advanced, intensive study of the Arabic language and the various cultures native to the Arab world.

APRIL – SEPTEMBER | ROUND ROCK, TX
Will you be in the Austin area this baseball season? Allow us to treat you to a minor league baseball game at Dell Diamond, home to the Round Rock Express! We’re excited to partner with the Express for their 25th season, and we would be honored for you to join us as our guest, as a token of our appreciation to you as a valued colleague. Let’s continue to cultivate our relationship in some of the best seats in the stadium!

ACROSS THE B GLOBAL NETWORK

Uniting the Community in Texas

And it’s certainly not the last time! At Enharmonic Encounters, we understand that building bridges to purposeful impact is a joint effort, so we’re looking to stay engaged with our community in Texas well into the future.
Let’s continue to uplift our values through the power of in-person connections. Let’s discuss joining forces for our next event!
The New Standards are Finally Here!
After nearly four years of study, consultations, and iterations, the new standards for B Certification were officially released on April 8, 2025. There’s no doubt that we’ll be digging into these standards very deeply over the coming weeks and months, and we’ll be sharing and participating in various sessions to bring our network up to speed on how to transition from the current standards to the new standards.
In the meantime, we encourage all current Certified B Corporations to take advantage of B Lab’s Impact Collab Workshops, a series of events designed to support and connect our B Global Network around the new standards. These events are available on the B Hive.
As always, we’re here to support you on your B Certification journey wherever you are. We’ll be happy to meet with you individually and discuss how things could look for your company. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us!

1% BETTER

The Origins of Our Collaboration with Thin Green Line

At Enharmonic Encounters, we’re all about building bridges for purposeful impact. Since our founding in 2022, we’ve carried out this mission in part through an intentional identity around charitable giving. As part of being a Certified B Corporation, each year we direct the equivalent of 5% of our annual revenue to charitable partners, a commitment we’ve honored through our business membership with 1% for the Planet.
It was through this membership that we learned of Thin Green Line’s work, prompting us to go beyond merely sending a monetary donation.

We’re Ready to Help You Speak Your Truth Across Borders!
As mentioned in the past, we’ve been proud to begin our professional development journey toward offering interpreting—that is, rendering the spoken word in real time, versus engaging the written word—as one of our flagship services by enrolling in a year-long interpreting course (PerCurso Regular em Interpretação de Conferência) at Interpret2b (i2B) in March 2024.
We have now finished the course and are ready to offer our interpreting services to our clients! As part of our graduation ceremony from i2B’s program, we’re planning our own capstone conference where we’ll be interpreting lectures in real time!
Our capstone conference will take place on May 24, 2025, at 1:30pm EDT via Zoom. Among other speakers, we’ll hear from the following individuals:

Juliane Sousa
Marketing and Communications Manager at Sistema B Brasil

Asha Wheeldon
Founder at Kula Foods

Clarenda “Farmer Cee” Stanley
Founding CEO and Chief Blender of Herbs at Green Heffa Farms
Registration is free. Join us for an afternoon of true bridge-building toward a more unified world, where you’ll have the chance to experience up close and personal our newly acquired skills and the convergence of different languages, cultures, and subject matters.
