Kinky Rootz Salon d/b/a Queen of Kinks is an inclusive salon in Nashville, Tennessee, deeply committed to cultivating beauty rooted in sustainability. From the very start, Kristi Mefford, the salon’s Founder and CEO, has operated with a purpose of caring for high frequency waves, kinks, and curls, creating a safe space for women to embrace their natural hair. How long will it take for my company to get Certified?
On average, expect to spend 6-12 months. Every company’s journey is different, but Enharmonic Encounters will guide you through the steps to ensure you stay on track.
How much should I expect to pay for yearly Certification Fees?
Fees are tiered based on your company’s top-line revenue. For companies in the United States and Canada, the lowest annual fee starts at $2,100 for companies earning up to $5 million.
Can you guarantee that my company will get Certified if I hire you?
Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee Certification. However, Jeffrey’s guidance has helped numerous companies achieve success, with a 100% success rate to date.
I see that there are now many Trained B Consultants and others helping companies get Certified. How do I know if you’re the right consultant for me?
Great question! In addition to the consultant having clear credentials and credibility, you’ll also want to consider factors such as:
- How well they interact with you.
- The experience other companies have had working with them.
- Their overall engagement in the B Global Network.

I’m looking at Certification, although I now see that the new standards have been released. Will I be expected to certify on these new standards?
Yes. February 28, 2026, was the last date for any company to submit on the previous version of the standards (V1.6). Now moving forward, all companies will be evaluated on the new standards (V2).
If you had to share only one piece of advice on how to succeed in the Certification process, what would it be?
The key to success is organization. Create clear, written documentation—signed and dated by executive leadership—that addresses each piece of your company’s sub-requirements. This journey values structure and transparency, and being organized will help you confidently provide the evidence needed to demonstrate your impact.
